RCC is involved in both local and foreign missions through the church and also through independent mission organizations that are affiliated with the church. At RCC, our heart is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone while also ministering to the physical needs of the people.  Jesus said to go into all the world, and at RCC, we are actively working both at home and in foreign countries to fulfill this commission.

Up Coming Mission Projects

Dirt Road Mission
Uganda Mission trip

Gary and the mission team will be departing for Uganda on December 30. Dirt Road Missions has undertaken one of its largest mission projects ever by funding the construction of a new & larger church building at RCC Nammanoga. This is the first church that RCC planted in Uganda and the congregation has outgrown the original small building! The new building is almost completed; however, there is still a need for some additional funding to add doors and windows to the building, so if you would like to be a part of blessing our sister congregation at RCC Nammanoga, there is still time! See Pastor Gary today!

Pray for the mission team and lives to be change..

Psalms 72:4 Help him to defend the poor, to rescue the children of the needy.

RCC Missions will be helping several children this year to have a blessed Christmas. As we all know, the need is great and our hearts must be led by the Holy Spirit as we share our blessings with others. We will receive an offering this morning at the end of service to help with this mission. Please prayerfully consider how you can help. If you would like to help with shopping or gift wrapping , please see Tammy Hartline or Beverly Noles. Thank You!

Dirt Road Missions

The Hartline Family (Gary, Tammy, Kisha, and Thomas) organized Dirt Road Missions in 2012 as they felt led from the Lord to step out and fulfill their call to work in missions. Their primary mission is to spread the gospel and help people in any way possible, anywhere there is a need, whether that is locally in Alabama, or anywhere the Lord leads them throughout the world.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is a worldwide Children’s project of Samaritan’s Purse that uses simple gift filled shoe boxes to let hurting boys and girls know that they are loved and not forgotten. The shoe boxes are delivered in the name of Jesus Christ to children living in desperate situations around the world. OCC makes is possible for millions of these children to experience God’s love through shoe boxes filled with gifts. The shoe boxes open doors for presenting the Good News of Jesus Christ by working in and through local churches where possible, offering children’s literature and through culturally appropriate evangelistic and follow up programs. Since 1993 over 100 million shoe boxes have been collected and distributed to needy children in more than 130 countries and territories. RCC has two year-round OCC volunteers, Church Relations Team members.
